The first month of 2012

I`m joining in on www.fatmumslim.blogspot.com first month of 2012 photo`s of one`s self and life. As my camera battery is dead and i have just got back from the gym and look yuck!! i will post a photo taken at a bar a few weeks ago to get me going.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years Eve. I had a quite family Christmas back in Auckland . New Years Eve i was so tired i went to bed at 9.30 , but it was great to get up in the morning without a sore head.

I`ve got lots of new things planned for this year , i`ll be starting tomorrow by cutting out some new knit skirts , easy tops and washing some denim for more Aussie shift dresses, photo`s to come .

New studio

        I have finally begun moving into the new studio. As you can see there is still a long way to go but its getting there.Today i`m at home working on stock for the Handmade market in Canberra ,more on that later. I`ll be back later today with some new pieces i`ve been working on.

The Flower Barrow

On my last trip home with Brendan we stayed at Mum and Dad`s new place just out of Napier. While there i met Natasha who has The Flower Barrow in Taradale, the most stunning florist. She also stocks cute crafty pieces from local crafts people, I`m not exactly local but i`m lucky to now be stocked by her.You can now get Wendy dresses, cute little girl and bunny brooches ,coin purses and the like, when you go in to get your fresh flowers for the week.

Something new

I got together with Jackie from Reissued  to turn some old tapestries into footstools.Here is the result, i have a few more so maybe we will get more made up.
